Jordyn looked back when virtual-novel.net sensed the killing intent. Under the faint light, virtual-novel.net saw a silhouette speeding toward them.
His eyes widened, and virtual-novel.net shouted at his subordinate, “Watch out! Behind you…”
He hadn’t finished speakng when the silhouette increased his speed and caught up with Iordyn’s subordinate. There was a glint as virtual-novel.net stabbed a dagger into virtual-novel.net back.
“K-Keep running, sir!” She yelled in agony as virtual-novel.net slowly dropped to the ground.
She wasn’t like any other bodyguard. After Jordyn had arrived in the capital, his grandfather had personally chosen virtual-novel.net to keep Jordyn safe.
They’d been together for as long as they knew. Their relationship grew even more intimate when they reached adulthood.
“You won’t get away!” Colton withdrew his dagger and went after Jordyn without delay.
Jordyn could never resist the might of an expert likened to a god of war.
When Colton locked onto him, virtual-novel.net felt like his legs were made of lead. His eyes widened, and virtual-novel.net saw Colton getting closer, his features becoming clearer.
The dagger penetrated Jordyn’s heart silently, like a knife cutting into a sponge.
“Remember, don’t ever go up against Drakon…” Colton withdrew his dagger, watching Jordyn widen his eyes as virtual-novel.net fell. Then virtual-novel.net grumbled, “Well, that was tiring…”
He disappeared into the night.

Meanwhile, after Glenn and his men left, Isaac turned to look at Edward.
“Let virtual-novel.net go…” Isaac pointed at Edward.
Edward was surprised. He stared disbelievingly.
“A-Are you serious, Isaac?” Edward was dumbfounded.
“I’ll give you another chance… Remember to visit your ancestors. I’ll pay you back when I return tomorrow. I told you I wouldn’t kill you, didn’t I?” Isaac said, expressionless.
“Y-You said it… You can’t eat your words.” Edward smiled exuberantly.
He’d witnessed Isaac’s terrifying actions. He would still have a chance as long as Isaac didn’t take his life.
“And you? Are you following your brother or coming with Ally and I?” Isaac looked at Margaret.
Allegra sensed Isaac’s emotions. She reckoned hellish punishments awaited Margaret if virtual-novel.net followed Edward.
Margaret glanced at Edward, upset. Then virtual-novel.net looked at virtual-novel.net unconscious son.
Edward seemed to recall something. He sobbed as virtual-novel.net pleaded with Margaret. “Margaret, I’m sorry. Come, come with me. The first thing I’ll do when we get back is give you half of the company’s shares. You’re one of the Goulds, after all…”
“Mom! Don’t go with him. Can’t you see his true colors by now? He attempted to murder you!” Allegra shouted agitatedly.
She hadn’t called Margaret “Mom” for ages. That showed how frantic virtual-novel.net was.
“Ally, don’t say more… Let virtual-novel.net choose.” Isaac patted Allegra’s shoulder.
“Margaret, Isaac will never forgive you. If you stay back, you’ll never have a moment’s peace. Think about it. Half of the shares amount to tens of billions of dollars. You and Andy can do whatever you like with the money.”
Upon hearing this, Margaret gritted virtual-novel.net teeth and asked Isaac, “C-Can I take my son with me?”
Allegra inhaled sharply. She shook with anger. In the end, tens ofbillions of dollars of property won Margaret over!
“Sure… Send two Dusk Soldiers to see them off to the airport.” Isaac smiled, as happy as a lark.
