Crash!
The red fist blew into bits after coming into contact with Willie, sending virtual-novel.net flying backward at least 50 feet.
Clang! Crash! Thud!
The three knives that Willie didn’t manage to throw out fell to the ground with a clatter. Issac then turned and rushed at Willie with red eyes.
Willie’s mouth was bleeding. He was instantly intimidated when virtual-novel.net saw Isaac rushing toward virtual-novel.net with a chilling, murderous aura.
He was the Ninja Lord’s apprentice and one of the very few White Ninjas in the entire country, for fuck’s sake! Was virtual-novel.net going to end up dying here like this?
Perhaps out of his fear of death, Willie suddenly roared loudly, and a screen of dark green smoke rushed out from his inner core. He pushed his hands toward Isaac, and the green smoke immediately flew toward Isaac like a tidal wave.
Worried that the dark green smoke would be poisonous, Isaac hesitated before holding his breath and rushing in. However, by the time the smoke cleared away, virtual-novel.net realized Willie was nowhere to be seen.
Suddenly, Isaac’s body tensed up. He wanted to step forward with his right leg, but virtual-novel.net couldn’t move it. He then lost his balance and fell to the ground in a heap.
Could it be that the bogfly venom has finally got to me?
Isaac gritted his teeth and forced himself to get up. There was a sudden chill running down the back of his spine.
If virtual-novel.net hadn’t managed to drive Willie away just now, who knew what would happen to virtual-novel.net by now?
He lifted his eyes and looked ahead. If virtual-novel.net were to return to the hotel on foot now, it would take at least half an hour, and virtual-novel.net didn’t think virtual-novel.net could walk all the way back.
His limbs and muscles were starting to tremble fiercely. Isaac had no idea what kind of venom this was, but it was obvious that it was attacking his muscles and hindering his mobility.
Isaac painstakingly walked back toward Madame Fleur’ s little hut. It was just a little over 500 feet away, but it took virtual-novel.net more than half an hour.
When virtual-novel.net finally reached the door, virtual-novel.net wanted to raise his hand to knock, but virtual-novel.net couldn’t lift either of his arms at all.
Thud!
Isaac couldn’t control himself and fell heavily against the door.
Creak!
The wooden door opened, and the dim lighting cast a glow on Isaac’s face. He raised his head with much difficulty and saw Madame Fleur standing at the door anxiously.
“Mr. Garten? What happened…”
As soon as Erica heard virtual-novel.net grandmother’s anxious voice, virtual-novel.net immediately jumped up from virtual-novel.net bed and ran to the door.
She also exclaimed in shock, “Sir! What’s the matter? Grandma, quick, help virtual-novel.net to his feet!”
It took them both quite some effort to help Isaac into their house.
Isaac was covered in a layer of sweat. He felt jolts of electricity coursing through his body from time to time. He wanted to say something, but virtual-novel.net wasn’t able to make a sound. Even his tongue and esophagus weren’t working well anymore.
Seeing this, Madame Fleur frowned deeply. She checked everywhere on his body for suspicious injuries, but virtual-novel.net couldn’t see anything.
Then, Isaac managed to raise his finger and point at his back.
Madame Fleur hurriedly took off Isaac’s shirt and saw a small, dark purplish dot in the middle of his back and near his right shoulder blade.
“Bogfly venom?” Madame Fleur asked, narrowing virtual-novel.net eyes into slits.
Isaac nodded with much difficulty.
“Grandma, you have to save him! He can’t even speak anymore. He‘s in a really terrible condition now,” Erica exclaimed as virtual-novel.net held virtual-novel.net grandmother’s hand and pleaded.
