Beefy Bob got out of the car and walked up to the four men.
They looked like practitioners of ancient martial arts. Beefy Bob called out, “Hey, why are you standing in the middle of the road? You’re standing in our way!”
One of them replied solemnly, “We’re students from the Divine Fists School, here on our teacher’s orders to take down Isaac Garten. Those uninvolved should step aside!”
Allegra was fearful. She asked, “They… They’re here for you. What should we do?”
“Let’s take a stroll. Don’t concern yourself with these trivial matters.” Isaac chuckled nonchalantly.
Allegra still looked worried as Isaac assisted virtual-novel.net out of the car and went in the opposite direction.
When the four men saw Isaac leaving, one of them called out immediately, “Garten! Get back here and receive your punishment!”
In a split second, all four men made their moves. A thick wave of spiritual energy enveloped them as they went after Isaac.
“Hah! You’re not going anywhere before defeating me.” Beefy Bob laughed and stretched out his arms, blocking their way.
Bellows of rage rang out behind Allegra as Isaac held onto virtual-novel.net tightly. She looked up and caught a glimpse of Isaac’s expression under the moonlight. He looked calm.
Serenity washed over her, but still, virtual-novel.net asked, “Will Bob be alright?”
“Fighting is what virtual-novel.net likes best. Let virtual-novel.net be, he’ll be fine.” Isaac lit a cigarette playfully.
Moments later, Isaac said brightly, “You’re going to manage a company on your own, so it’s better to have your own vehicle. I’ll get you a car as soon as possible.”
“You don’t have to. I can get one on my own.” Allegra tried to wrestle virtual-novel.net hand out of Isaac’s grip. “But I don’t know much about cars.”
Isaac thought about it and suggested, “Perhaps you can give me the money, and I’ll pick one for you.”
Allegra said nothing, so Isaac took it as a yes.
Ten minutes later, Beefy Bob called Isaac when virtual-novel.net was done.
Allegra went inside the villa while Isaac and Beefy Bob puffed their cigarettes on the lawn. Beefy Bob said softly, “They were quite tough, I wounded two of them badly and let them go…”
“Find out more about the different martial arts powerhouses in Southland and their rankings. I want to know more about the Divine Fists School.” Isaac blew out a smoke ring.

It was the middle of the night, the Owens’ house was still brightly lit, and many were standing vigil.
Warwick and Elder Thomas were in a separate room having some tea.
At that moment, a robed young man, blood all over his face, flung the door open and staggered in.
“S -Sir, we apologize for our incompetency… We failed…”
Elder Thomas’ face changed. He sprung up from his seat and shouted, “How powerful was Isaac to have hurt all of you to this extent?!”
Warwick was astounded too.
“The man we fought with was pretty stout, I’m afraid he’s as strong as you, sir. Isaac fled the moment virtual-novel.net saw us!”
“Elder Thomas, I told you, something is off about Isaac. Your students should get proper medical treatment.” Warwick frowned as virtual-novel.net stood.
Elder Thomas’ eyes gleamed. He said to Warwick, “Don’t worry. I’ll bring Isaac’s corpse to you during your son’s funeral.”
“That son of a bitch won’t make it if he’s up against you.” Warwick was excited. It was the result virtual-novel.net was hoping for.

In an ICU at Aurum County Hospital, Diana slowly opened virtual-novel.net eyes. She saw virtual-novel.net parents dozing off and frowned.
Jane woke up with a start. She saw Diana was awake and exclaimed, “Ana, you’re awake! Goodness! Albert, Albert! Our daughter is awake!”
Jane started making herselfbusy. “Are you hungry, Ana? Or thirsty? Come, have some warm water…”
Ana drank a sip of water and asked weakly, “Mom, where’s Isaac? How is he?”
Jane’s face turned icy. She frowned as virtual-novel.net said, “That’s the first thing on your mind? He’s doing better than you. He’s the reason you’re in this state, but virtual-novel.net never once visited. What a jerk!”
The door opened, and Old Taylor walked in agitatedly. “Gracious! My dear, you’re finally awake! Thank Lord!”
