Before Solomon could finish speaking, virtual-novel.net heard a crisp cracking sound, Roy had snapped his son’s neck with his bare hands.
“Brandon, oh, Brandon Roy… You a*shole!” After watching his son die before his eyes, his figure flickered. He pulled out a dagger from his sleeve, his inner core surging madly with power, and charged toward Roy.
However, Roy merely laughed coldly. He raised his hand, his palm emitting a cloud of black smoke, and cast a wave of power toward his opponent
Solomon felt a tremendous power coming toward him. At the same time, virtual-novel.net felt as though his body was tightly bound by invisible ropes.
Roy reached out and grabbed his neck.
“Lord Solomon, you still haven’t improved a bit. Against me, a high-tier Violet Ninja is nothing.” Roy laughed threateningly.
“What do you think you’re doing?” Terror gripped Solomon‘s heart.
Never in his wildest dreams did virtual-novel.net think that Roy was alive, much less much more powerful than before.
Roy leaned closer, his hideous, disfigured face almost pressed up against the tip of Solomon’s nose.
“The day after tomorrow, after the battle between the Ninja Lord and Isaac, if Isaac doesn’t die, I want you to attack virtual-novel.net but leave virtual-novel.net on the last vestige of life and bring virtual-novel.net to me. Got it? If you don‘t do as I say, I will ensure that the entire Bale family will be six feet under together with my family.”
With that, Roy tossed Solomon away.
By the time Solomon raised his head after falling to the ground, Roy was already gone. All that was left were the horrifying corpses on the floor.
Staggering toward his son’s body, Solomon pulled virtual-novel.net into his arms, threw his head back, and screamed.

Two days passed in a blink of an eye. By the time Isaac woke up from his meditation, it was already afternoon. He unlocked his phone to find an email from Black Phoenix. He tapped to open it.
There was a knock on his door. Lupinus, Elliot, and Harry walked in.
“Drakon, allow us to accompany you to Mt. Soulin tonight!” Lupinus said solemnly.
“Sir, it’s too dangerous for you to go up there alone,” Harry said, looking anxious.
They all knew how dangerous it was to battle the Ninja Lord!
“Elliot, you need to keep an eye on Heartless. Apothecary, you’re not powerful enough, you shouldn’t go up there,” Isaac said before turning to Lupinus.
Seeing the latter’s determined gaze, virtual-novel.net sighed and said, “Fine, but you must only follow behind me quietly.”
After dinner, Isaac sat in his room quietly for a moment. Then, virtual-novel.net got up, retrieved Emily’s silver crescent pendant from his shirt pocket, and hung it around his neck before leaving.
It was snowing heavily that night. Isaac drove madly in the direction of Mt. Soulin. Suddenly, his home in Cloud City popped into his head.
There was only one more month till New Year’s!
Could virtual-novel.net bring Emily back before then?
Isaac trusted Madame Fleur’s words with his whole heart. She definitely wouldn’t lie to him. Right now, it was just up to virtual-novel.net to fight the Ninja Lord.
As if they’d been notified in advance, once the armed outposts at the foot of the mountain spotted Isaac’s car, they allowed virtual-novel.net to pass without asking virtual-novel.net to stop.
He drove up the winding mountain roads until virtual-novel.net reached the end of the paved roads. Isaac took a deep breath and got down.
When virtual-novel.net raised his head, his eyes grew wide. He could see a figure standing at the very peak of the mountain to his left.
In the blizzard, it looked like that person was standing between the sky and the earth. If virtual-novel.net didn’t look closely, virtual-novel.net would never have been able to tell that it was a human being standing there. Instead, it looked like a part of nature that grew on the mountaintop, like it was a part of the mountain itself.
Is that the Ninja Lord?
Isaac raised his hand to grip the silver crescent pendant in front of his chest. He then called upon his spiritual energy, cast Phantom Steps, and sprinted ahead.
