Terryn returned to her senses and shouted excitedly, "Blow up the bridge! Robbie, blow up the bridge now!"

Thunderous explosions and pillars of fire immediately erupted from the center of the sea-crossing bridge. Under the force of the massive detonation, the bridge's midsection broke apart and collapsed, falling into the sea below and leaving a gap hundreds of feet long.

The vampires, who tried to flee, came to a halt at the edge of the bridge. The distance was too great for them to leap across.

The only other option was to jump into the sea, which would only place them in a more dangerous situation. Thus, none of the vampires jumped into the sea. Instead, they gathered at the center of the bridge.

Isaac began to march toward the bridge with his sword.
