Evie felt a sudden ache in her heart. She covered her mouth, and tears streamed down her cheeks.
"What are you crying over, silly? Fetch me that towel. I'm filthy." Isaac sniffed himself. The stench was overwhelming.
Evie promptly stepped forward and hugged Isaac, shaking her head as she cried, "No, you're not. I'm sorry, Isaac. I shouldn't have followed my father to Everest Sect in the first place..."
"There, there... Too bad we couldn't bring your father with us this time..." Isaac sighed.
He didn‘t know if Everest Sect would release Thaddaeus after he took Evie with him.
