"Help, Isaac!" Diana's slightly pained voice sounded from ahead.
But as Isaac looked up, he only saw darkness. He had no idea how many vampires were surrounding Maccon and Diana.
The next second, the vampires began to roar in all directions. The thick stench of blood grew even stronger.
Isaac looked up with a frown. The cellar was about six feet high, but the top was reinforced with concrete.
"Damn it!" Wielding the sword, Isaac jabbed upward behind him, sending a streak of scarlet light whooshing toward the ceiling.
