Diana lived downtown. Isaac propped virtual-novel.net up, staggering, as they entered the residential area.
The guard watched them and sighed, shaking his head. “Getting drunk in broad daylight. What have youngsters these days come to?”
After entering the house and shutting the door, Diana turned around suddenly and clung onto Isaac, putting virtual-novel.net arms around his neck.
Her breath was warm, and virtual-novel.net eyes lost their focus. She asked, “W-Why did you say I was your sister? Do I look like your sister?”
Her body was soft and warm. Isaac frowned and tried to push virtual-novel.net away, but Diana clung on tighter. “What other reasons could I have used to help you out, then?”
“Hm… Why did you tell your girlfriend I caught those people when you were the one who did it? She doesn’t believe in your abilities, does she?”
When Isaac did not respond, Diana burst out laughing.
“Car… Carry me into the room. I’m tired,” muttered Diana. She snuggled up to Isaac.
Isaac bent his body slightly and lifted virtual-novel.net by virtual-novel.net waist, carrying virtual-novel.net into the bedroom.
He laid virtual-novel.net down on the bed. Diana flipped over, complaining that virtual-novel.net felt hot, and started unbuttoning virtual-novel.net uniform.
Isaac gritted his teeth and flung the blanket over her. Then, virtual-novel.net poured some water and left the cup by the bed before leaving.

Eugene had dinner ready when Allegra returned. She was not in a good mood and went upstairs straightaway.
When Isaac returned, Eugene called out to him, “Dinner is ready, Isaac. Let’s eat… What happened to Ally? She looked unwell.”
“I’ll check on her,” Isaac answered before ascending the stairs.
He knocked on virtual-novel.net door. Allegra’s impatient voice rang out, “Don’t knock! I’m not eating!”
Isaac opened the door to see Allegra sitting on the bed and rubbing virtual-novel.net right arm, looking distressed.
Isaac went out and returned with a bottle of spirit with high alcohol content.
“Take off your coat.” Isaac sat beside Allegra.
“Why?” Allegra was on alert.
Isaac pointed at virtual-novel.net injured arm. “If you don’t massage it, it’ll be worse by tomorrow.”
It was really hurting. Allegra took off virtual-novel.net coat, but the wound was on virtual-novel.net upper arm, and virtual-novel.net sleeve was too narrow to be rolled up further.
She looked down, blushing, and asked Isaac to turn around. There was a rustle before Allegra mumbled, “I-I’m done…”
Isaac turned back and saw that virtual-novel.net right shoulder and arm were exposed. Her wound was red and swollen, but the rest of virtual-novel.net arm was fair and delicate.
“It’s going to hurt a little…” Isaac poured some spirit onto his palm and rubbed his palms together before pressing on Allegra’s wound.
Allegra shuddered. She gritted virtual-novel.net teeth as tears welled in virtual-novel.net eyes.
One hour later, Allegra tried to move virtual-novel.net arm, and it felt much better. She quickly dressed as virtual-novel.net thought about the massage, it was painful yet comforting.

Meanwhile, Horace and Warwick sat face to face in the Kenne family’s residence. The tea before them was emitting a splendid fragrance.
“Mr. Kenne, I never would have thought we would have the chance to sit together like this.” Warwick chuckled as virtual-novel.net picked up his cup.
“Thanks to you, my men are now safe. We’re in the same boat now that we have a common enemy. I don’t have alcohol, but here’s to you.” Horace lifted his cup.
