Cyra bit hard on virtual-novel.net lips. When virtual-novel.net looked at Isaac, virtual-novel.net eyes were bloodshot.
“S-She doesn’t know anything, Mr. Garten… My daughter has always been at home lately. She rarely left the house, so how could virtual-novel.net do that to your daughter?” Garrett waved fretfully.
Isaac laughed and said to Beefy Bob, “Get Lucas to bring virtual-novel.net in…”
Hearing this, Garrett squinted.
“One of you is absent, I believe he’s called Gael Isbell. I heard he’s someone influential…” Isaac let out an intimidating air.
Soon, Lucas carried an almost lifeless man into the house. With a thud, virtual-novel.net thrust the man onto the floor.
“This is Cosmo Searre. He was Gael’s subordinate ten years ago. He told me Gael called virtual-novel.net and arranged for virtual-novel.net to kidnap and bury my daughter alive. Is it true?” Isaac’s icy gaze swept across Garrett and his children.
“Mr. Isbell, Mr. Isbell! Save me! I don’t want to die! I don’t want to die!” The man on the floor looked up and shouted at Garrett in agony.
Garrett’s eyes widened. He pointed at Cosmo and yelled, “Y-You are framing us! Mr. Garten, you can’t possibly listen to his one-sided…”
Suddenly, Isaac slapped the coffee table. With a crash, the rosewood coffee table pulverized, scaring everyone out of their wits.
“I did it! I made my brother do it! You killed my husband and son, so I wanted you to feel what it’s like to lose someone you hold dear! You piece of junk…” Cyra couldn’t hold it in any longer and started screaming hysterically.
“Look… Finally, someone spoke the truth.” Isaac smiled and looked at Garrett.
Garrett frowned and grew sullen.
Suddenly, there was a sudden screech of tires.
They looked out and saw Gael leading a horde of armed soldiers marching toward them ferociously.
“Isaac, you good-for-nothing jerk! How dare you make a scene in our house?! Do you think you can get away with anything?!” Gael entered and scolded.
The soldiers virtual-novel.net brought immediately formed a semicircle around them. They released the safety on their guns and pointed them at Isaac and his men.
Lucas emanated waves of spiritual energy, but Isaac signaled virtual-novel.net to stay put.
“Your husband, Logan Owens, and your son, Jordyn Isbell, am I right? I believe Mr. Isbell knows I’m not an easy target, so why did all of you just watch on as they kept provoking me time after time?” Isaac squinted at Cyra.
“I’ve been on the battlefield overseas for many years and have killed many, but I’m not a bloodthirsty demon. I gave the Owens family and Jordyn more than three chances, but they preferred death. You can’t blame me for that, can you? Now, I’ll offer you a chance at revenge. You can shoot at me three times! If I survive the three shots, the Isbell family will face death…”
Cyra breathed heavily, virtual-novel.net eyes red. “Alright, remember what you said!”
She briskly walked up to Gael and pulled out his pistol. She aimed the gun at Isaac’s head without hesitation and pulled the trigger.
The moment Cyra fired, Isaac’s eyes grew red, and the spiritual energy in his power core surged. His figure blurred as virtual-novel.net took three steps forward.
The three bullets hit the front door behind him, and there were faint wisps of smoke.
“Impossible!” Cyra’s eyes widened. Her hands were trembling.
“Darn it! Come, I’ll do it!” Gustav hollered, darted toward Cyra, and grabbed virtual-novel.net pistol.
He fired, and the bullets flew directly at Isaac’s forehead.
