Denvor’s gaze grew misty. Frowning, virtual-novel.net said, “To be honest, my master went to the Everest Sect a few years ago. However, after virtual-novel.net left, virtual-novel.net never returned. He said that the Everest Sect is located at the peak of Evereston, and it’s a portal to another world…”
“The Everest Sect is the protector of this world, and it’s the sacred land for all martial artists. You can only reach the Everest Sect if someone from inside leads you there. Otherwise, you can’t find the entrance.” With that, virtual-novel.net sighed.
From the side, Harry snickered and said, “This is beginning to sound fishy. A portal to another world, does that refer to heaven or hell?”
“You don’t know anything! I heard that only people in the Divinity Phase and above can enter. Not to mention, the Everest Sect must personally select you. That’s why it’s called a sacred land! It’s not easy for just anyone to get in there.” Denvor glared at Harry.
“This wasn’t helpful at all.” Isaac looked exasperated. He turned around and sat on the couch.
Soon, Jeremiah and Phineas arrived after braving the rain. The two of them even brought a few subordinates who were dressed in long cloaks and were also carrying a few briefcases.
In the study, Jeremiah handed Isaac a registry that contained a list of temples, sects, and divisions that existed within Astraeus, as well as a list of names of other martial sects.
Another stack contained rules that Jeremiah and Phineas had outlined regarding the relationship between martial artists and martial arts powerhouses. In a nutshell, they weren’t allowed to pick personal fights, engage in group fights, or hurt civilians.
Toward the end, the documents listed the various punishments for martial artists or martial arts powerhouses that flouted the rules.
“Martial Artists Society? Disciplinary Council?” Isaac read the headlines on all the documents.
There was one more list of names on the back.
Isaac raised his head to regard Jeremiah and Phineas.
Phineas nodded and said, “Mr. Garten, Jeremiah and I have discussed it. If we want to establish order, then we need these organizations. By establishing the Martial Artists Society, we don’t stand to gain anything. We’ll only form a Disciplinary Council beneath it. The society will be formed in Cloud City…”
“Jeremiah and I have already selected people to become members of the Disciplinary Council. In the future, they can volunteer themselves, but they need to be in the Amalgamation Phase or above, while the head and deputy heads have to be in the Renascence Phase or above. Without punishments, all the rules outlined would be for nothing.”
Isaac nodded. “That’s reasonable. In that case, let’s follow your plan. Find a large space and quickly gather martial artists in Amalgamation Phase and above.”
There was a simple reason why they only wanted martial artists in the Amalgamation Phase or above, with someone strong to back them up, the lower martial artists wouldn’t dare do anything stupid.
Jeremiah looked a little awkward. “Mr. Garten, we’ve already chosen a location, the Cloud City Sports School field. Um, well, c-could you make an appearance personally? Phineas and I aren’t confident that we can make these people…”
“I understand. You can start getting to work. I’ll be there on time,” Isaac said, nodding.
Phineas and Jeremiah were overjoyed. The truth was that to them, this Martial Artists Society was simply Astraeus in disguise, and the “Supreme Leader” position now fell to the two of them.
However, there were many martial arts experts in the world. Without Isaac’s support, they wouldn’t have enough backing.
The two of them didn’t say this out loud, but Isaac knew. With virtual-novel.net there, they wouldn’t dare commit any foolish acts like the old Astraeus did either.
After the two left, they immediately drafted a notice in the name of the Martial Artists Society, which clearly announced that the Martial Arts Conference was to be held in Cloud City on the day after tomorrow.
At the bottom of the notice, it said that the current lord of the Temple of Drakon, Mr. Isaac Garten, would be there in person to give a talk, and absentees would have to bear their own consequences.
The sun rose. Harry went to the hospital, virtual-novel.net had to treat his wounds and also make medicine for Denvor.
Meanwhile, after Denvor woke up, virtual-novel.net immediately went out. When virtual-novel.net returned, virtual-novel.net was carrying a rooster in one hand and a huge bag of herbs in the other. He rushed into the kitchen.
It was Friday, and Isabella was going to return home from school in the afternoon. Isaac didn’t want his daughter to come up to find virtual-novel.net mother tied to the bed, so virtual-novel.net asked Denvor to make some medicine for Allegra despite his injuries.
Soon, the sun was high in the sky, and Denvor walked out of the kitchen holding a bow and a talisman.
When virtual-novel.net found Isaac smoking in the living room, virtual-novel.net said quietly, “Mr. Garten, do you mind coming upstairs with me? The medicine is very bitter, and I need you to hold Mrs. Garten down.”
