After his grandfather left, Xayden sat on the sofa, his face red with anger.
Before Cyrus left, virtual-novel.net shared three pieces of news with him, but each of them upset virtual-novel.net greatly.
Firstly, one of the ways to kill Isaac was to lure virtual-novel.net to Seascape or to the eastern region. On top of that, virtual-novel.net had to wait for his father to end his meditation!
Secondly, Reece of the South Division had gone against orders, stirred up trouble of his own, and thus, was kicked out of Astraeus. Moreover, Evie would be replacing Reece as the head of the South Division.
Xayden couldn’t comprehend why they wanted Evie to become the division head. Children of the Supreme Leader weren’t allowed to take up positions internally within Astraeus.
Now that virtual-novel.net was division head of the South Division, wouldn’t virtual-novel.net have more opportunities to get close to that bastard Isaac?
Thirdly, once his father finished his meditation, Cyrus would bring his father to ask the Supreme Leader for an arranged marriage.
To have the Supreme Leader’s eldest daughter marry into the family would be great news for the Neal family. At the very least, their family status would rise within Astraeus and even the nine continents of the martial arts world.
Only the last piece of news made Xayden feel slightly relieved.

As bright lights lit up the evening sky, Beefy Bob drove Isaac back to Cloud Nine Villas.
After getting out of the car, Isaac went up the steps.
Before virtual-novel.net even reached the living room, virtual-novel.net heard Isabella cry out, “Dad, Dad!”
From the sofa, Allegra watched with red eyes as Isabella ran into Isaac’s arms. At first, virtual-novel.net didn’t believe that Isaac would really come back, but after seeing this scene play out in real life, virtual-novel.net realized how many times she’d imagined this happening in virtual-novel.net head.
At the side, Harry sighed. He knew that his boss had several close calls with death on the battlefield over the past few years, but after each battle, his boss would always say that so long as his wife and child were waiting for virtual-novel.net at home, virtual-novel.net couldn’t afford to die.
When virtual-novel.net saw this, virtual-novel.net finally understood how tough Isaac had it over the past few years.
Earlier, virtual-novel.net had applied some medicine for Isabella, but that little girl had refused to go upstairs and insisted on waiting for virtual-novel.net father to come home.
“Sir, Eugene and Isabella are mostly fine. Since there’s nothing else, I’ll be leaving now,” Harry said to Isaac quietly.
Isaac carried Isabella into his arms and whispered to Harry, “Get me more of what you gave me today.”
“Er, how much more? I plan to take action against the Crowe family over the next few days.” Harry was implying that virtual-novel.net was going to be busy.
“The more, the better. You handle it…”
When Eugene saw this scene, virtual-novel.net felt happy. But after that happiness passed, virtual-novel.net sighed heavily and returned to his room.
Isaac played with Isabella in the living room for a while before the little rascal fell into a deep sleep in his arms.
Inside the bedroom, the lights were switched off. Isaac and Allegra lay next to each other, wide awake. They stared at the ceiling in the dark, listening to each other’s breaths.
After a long moment, Allegra spoke up first, “Isaac, are you hiding a lot more things from me?”
Isaac heard Allegra get a bit choked up. He replied quietly, “There are some things you don’t know, but I’ll tell you in due time.”
Suddenly, Allegra turned so that virtual-novel.net back was toward Isaac and asked, “Do you hate the Goulds?”
“I want to hear your thoughts instead,” Isaac responded softly.
Allegra was silent for a few seconds before virtual-novel.net said, “I hate them… I despise the Gould family so much. But as the rift between the Gould family and us grew worse, my father was worried about Andrew… After all, virtual-novel.net only has one son.”
“I understand. I’ll have Bob think of a way,” Isaac replied gently.
