When Heron questioned him, Declan looked very calm and aloof.
He calmly explained, “Demon is just demon. What’s wrong?”
“Oh? Is there no special meaning?”
“What else could it mean?” Declan said, “When Phoebe was naughty, I would scare her using demons. Then, she would obediently go to bed and eat. Demons are the same as the witches and big bad wolves that people use to scare kids.”
Nothing seemed out of the ordinary. Besides, he just mentioned the word “demon”, and it did not seem to mean anything special.
