At midnight, the bright moonlight shone on the cold road.
After Cancer finished his work for the day, he left the office building. He did not rush back home. He smoked while walking under the moonlight. He liked this kind of feeling. This made him feel very relaxed, and he could focus on thinking about how to continue his research.
While he walked on the road, some car roaring sounds were heard, and a black sedan stopped beside him. The car door was opened, and a man in a Hawaiian shirt said to Cancer, “Are you Cancer, the director of the R&D Department in Sterling Technology? Our leader wants to meet you. Please come with us.”
Cancer breathed out some smoke. “I’m not interested.”
When he wanted to walk away, the man in the Hawaiian shirt took out a gun and pointed it at Cancer. “It’s just a meal. You don’t have to turn us down, right?”
