Whenever women competed with each other, it would be a terrifying sight. Do not be deceived by Anna's aloof demeanor, for she was still a woman at heart. As a woman, she was no exception to having feminine characteristics.
The two women, Anna and Fleta, kept picking outfits out non-stop. Whenever one picked out a piece, the other would choose another one which was even more expensive.
As they competed over the prices for a few clothes among themselves, the outfits in their hands had reached over a hundred thousand dollars a piece. Those clothes were even more expensive than diamonds.
Even though Anna was rather wealthy, she should not be this reckless either. However, her haughty personality would never allow her to lose face in this situation. She stood her ground and was determined to buy the pile of clothes in her hands.
Fleta refused to admit defeat either, as she grabbed an armful of clothing. Each of them was a few hundred thousand dollars apiece, the cheapest being two hundred thousand dollars. The pile of outfits would amount to around eight hundred thousand dollars.
