What differed slightly from everyone's expectation was that Thomas did not look as dispirited as they thought he would; like someone with a fully grown beard and a long face, as well as someone who did not wash his face for a long time.
Conversely, Thomas appeared quite clean and very neat. He looked a little low-spirited, but that was not strange. When he encountered such a thing, it was already terrific that he could still bear the pressure without committing suicide.
While being accompanied by Aries, Thomas took the elevator and came to the lobby on the first floor before he walked outside. Diana stared at Thomas anxiously, and she felt extremely gloomy. Although she knew it was impossible to be with Thomas, she still enjoyed her time working as Thomas’ secretary. As long as she could accompany Thomas every day, she would feel very happy.
But, why could God not satisfy her little request?
“Mr. Mayo!” Diana shouted, and she could not stop crying.
