Richard looked at the board of directors again. “I don’t care about the others, but the board of directors seem to have a close relationship with Lucas. Well, you guys support Lucas so much, so you must have a very close relationship with him. Maybe you guys are involved in the murdering of the chief officer in charge behind the curtain.”
With a hang, the board representative stood up and stammered, “R-Richard, don’t talk nonsense and gossip! Although our relationship with Lucas is good, we have nothing to do with the attempted murder of the chief officer in charge!”
Richard smiled. “It’s not up to you to decide whether you guys are related or not. I’ll call the police now and let the police investigate. You’ll know after that.”
The board representative’s face turned pale with fright. Although he was not involved in the crime, he did a lot of bad things with Lucas privately. So, he would not survive the investigation.
