The army ants were a fearsome species.

Thomas had encountered these creatures when he was battling in various places. His troops, which numbered up to three hundred, were devoured by these ants in merely half an hour. None of them managed to survive.

They were all fully armed soldiers but were decimated in half an hour. One could only imagine how cruel and ferocious these creatures were.

Army ants were a species that preferred to live in swarms. Normally, their numbers would be up to a million or two in a swarm.

These ants were migratory. Unlike ants that built their nests, they were on the constant move from the moment they hatched from their eggs. While constantly moving around, they picked their targets and devoured them.
