Kindness Clinic did not open for business today. The shutters might be drawn, but the closed sign was hanging on the door. This was the second day the clinic was not open for business. People had no idea what had happened to Kindness Clinic. All they knew was that it was not in operation.
Inside the house, Adery began teaching Clover to read and speak after feeding her. She treated her as if she were her own sister.
Apart from her father, only Thomas could say a few words to Adery because of her aloof personality.
Thomas was married, thus she and Thomas were unable to have a blossoming and fruitful relationship. Her sense of loneliness was only getting worse. Now that Clover had appeared, Adery recognized the same loneliness in this little girl, so she was very kind to her.
According to Adery's observations, this little girl’s mental age was probably stuck around the age of three or four. She could eat on her own, albeit barely. However, talking and walking were skills that had to be taught and developed gradually.
