Thomas fished out his phone and dialed Ryan Hudson’s number.
“Hey, Ryan, help me out with something. I’d like to have Grand Metro Garden's sticky toffee pudding, so please help me invite their chef to Everlast Restaurant, booth number six, and have them personally prepare the pudding for us.”
“Roger that. It’ll be done in 15 minutes.”
After getting off the phone, Thomas looked at everyone and calmly said, “15 minutes, and the chef would be here to personally prepare the pudding for us. Please wait for a moment.”
Everyone in the room erupted into laughter, this time mockingly.
