Thomas raised his hand to get the security guards to separate other irrelevant people and give Mabel some space to breathe. He did not want to push her into a corner too much. He walked over slowly and asked in a calm tone, “Who paid you and asked you to do this?”
Mabel shook her head.
“Huh?”
Thomas’ gaze terrified Mabel so much that she fell down on the ground and moved backward. She quickly explained, “It’s not that I don’t want to say it. I really don’t know.”
