Halfway through the banquet, a plump man from another table stood up and came over to Thomas’ table with his wine glass in hand. He raised his wine glass in Thomas’ direction and grinned. “Mr. Thomas, I’m the R&D supervision of Sterling Technology. My name is Craig Eastwood. I came here to offer you a toast for returning in such a glorious fashion.”

Thomas smiled and lifted his wine glass. After exchanging a few pleasantries, they drank their wine.

He thought this was it, but Craig poured another glass of wine and said, “Mr. Thomas, let me toast to you again. This is for you reuniting with Mr. Mayo.”
