Thomas drove a company car and rushed to the chief officer’s office building.
When he passed by a riverside highway, he surprisingly saw that many cars were parked along the road. A group of people was standing by the river while looking at something. An elder with gray hair was crying loudly at the riverside. It sounded like he was crying because his grandson had been swept away by the river.
Thomas parked his car, opened the door, and walked toward the crowd.
“What happened?” Thomas asked.
A nosy old lady said, “An old man brought a kid and played by the river. Unfortunately, a big wave splashed on them, and the kid fell deep into the river, so he was instantly swept away by the wave.”
