The old housekeeper asked, “Master, shall I go out and tell her that you’re already asleep, and ask her to come again tomorrow?”

Nicholas squinted, “Hold on, that woman wouldn’t be so bored to purposely come over here to laugh at me. Besides, how can I fall asleep at a time like this? Who would believe it? Go and ask her to come in. I want to see why that woman has visited my place when she should be sleeping now.”

The housekeeper nodded. “I understand, Master. I’ll go now.”

After a while, a woman in a long fiery red dress followed the old housekeeper inside.

Nicholas purposely forced a smile and asked, “What a rare guest! It’s so late now. I wonder why you’ve come to our house now.”
