At that critical point, Thomas moved sideways at a speed that was beyond human limits and avoided the attack from the pit bulls. Then, he took out a dagger. When the next pit bull rushed forward, he pinned it down on the floor and pierced the dagger into the pit bull’s neck. The dog instantly died.
The third dog attacked from the back, but Thomas could apparently see it behind him. He swung his dagger backward without turning back. He slashed the pit bull behind him, and it fell on the floor with a big cut on its belly.
It was bleeding.
Dogs usually bullied the weak opponent and feared the strong opponent. After the dogs saw that their partners died miserably, the other three pit bulls were so scared that they turned around and ran away. They dared not stay there any longer.
Thomas stood up and kept the dagger away.
