The whole family looked at Thomas, not understanding what he meant.

Harvard placed his chopsticks down and said, “Calm down Thomas. You are doing fine with your current job. You have a high wage and don’t have to do much. Why are you suddenly resigning? Is there anything wrong with your work?”

Felicia gave her piece of advice as well. “You can talk to me if you have any problems, Thomas, do not resign on impulse. It was not easy to get rid of the rumor about you being a kept man. Your resignation now will reflect badly on your reputation.”

Harvard looked at Thomas from across the table. He was not satisfied. It was a miracle that Thomas was able to reach such heights in the company. Why did he suddenly want to resign?

That was pretty irresponsible for him as a man, was it not?
