In the bedroom, Thomas called Samson and said something. The moment Emma opened the door and entered, he seemed to casually hang up.
Emma tucked her hair behind her ears before she apologized. “I’m sorry.”
“Huh?”
“I apologize on my dad’s behalf. I know you said that for his sake, but he always finds himself at a dead end. He can’t figure out the solutions for his problems.”
Thomas smiled. “It’s all right. I didn’t mind it. The most important thing now is to solve the problem.”
