Blake was stunned and said, “What opinion could I have? To be honest, Thomas’ cooking skills are better than mine. I’m not qualified to be his teacher.”

Mr. Cole smirked. “If you can’t be his teacher, you can be his grandfather.”

Blake immediately blushed. “You old man, what are you saying?”

Mr. Cole said, “We’ve been friends for decades. How could I not know what you’re thinking? You must have taken a liking to Thomas and want him to be your grandson-in-law.”
