Jed suddenly stopped moving. After a moment, Jed turned around with a smile and said, “Of course not. You’re Mr. Mayo’s son, and it’s only suitable that the son takes over his father’s business, so you’re the perfect candidate to take over Mr. Mayo. Don’t worry, Mr. Thomas, I will do my best to support both you and Mr. Mayo.”
Thomas nodded. “Mr. Jed, you’re a really good man.”
“Thank you for the praise. Then, may I leave?”
“Of course.”
