A low-key black sedan stopped before a house on a farm in the suburbs of Central City. The door was opened, and the person getting out of the car was Sterling Technology’s chairman. He reached out to open the door and walked inside only after he stood at the door for at least ten seconds.
The renovation in the house was very luxurious, and it gave two completely different feelings from the broken appearance. Besides, there was a bed inside the house, and a middle-aged man was lying on it.
It was none other than Nelson who had been grounded. The imposter walked to the bed and sat down before he reached out to take an apple from the fruit basket. He peeled the apple while he said, “I know that you’re conscious now, and I also didn’t drug you recently. You don’t have to pretend to be asleep.”
On the bed, Nelson opened his eyes. Although he was conscious, his body was still very weak. It was very hard for him to sit up.
He stared at the ceiling blankly. “Why would you be so kind that you’ll come to see a disabled person like me?”
