Thomas did not get angry. He chuckled before he said, “All right. Since all of you are so heartless, I can’t say anything. You’re right, the kids should bear the consequences for the mistake their parents have made. All of you who are here today should listen to me now. From today onward, all the mistakes you’ve made will be borne by your children.”
All the parents looked at each other. They did not understand what Thomas was trying to say.
Thomas reached out to pat Bones on the shoulder. “Get up. Your son is right. It’s not worth kneeling down for this group of people.”
