All of these were leftover low-quality rough stones that had not even gone through any human-powered selection processed. They were simply disposed of in batches at a low price.
Thomas wondered why the Milan headquarters wanted so many waste products. He could not figure it out. However, there were all things considered by the board of directors. As the purchasing manager, Thomas only needed to do his job. He got in the car and drove away with his subordinates. Their destination was the customs.
The three trucks laden with rough stones traveled down the road.
As they drove, two trucks lagged behind. Thomas’ truck was in the front, and the middle truck was still following it closely. However, the third truck was a little slower than the others. After driving for more than an hour, the third truck had almost fallen out of sight. While passing an intersection, the trucks were blocked by the traffic again, completely disconnecting the three vehicles.
Thomas glanced through the rearview mirror and frowned. He felt that something was wrong.
