Thomas coughed awkwardly a few times.

Emma blushed and said, “I am just going away for a few days. It won’t be long, but the way you described it sounded a bit scary.”

While she was talking, Emma's cell phone rang. After the call was connected, she could hear the voice of an old man, Richard speaking eloquently.

Upon finishing his long speech, Emma put down her phone and said helplessly, “Susan, I’m afraid I must apologize.”
