“Mr. Mayo, what’s wrong?” the driver asked in confusion.
Thomas was not in a hurry to answer. Instead, he looked around and pointed to an Italian restaurant not far away. “Everyone, I’m sorry. I came out without eating anything this morning, and I’m on the brink of a gastric attack. Besides, the road was bumpy, so I couldn’t handle it. Therefore, please bear with me and rest for a while. Let me treat you guys to a meal. Please come with me.”
It was almost lunchtime. Everyone’s stomachs were very empty, so all of them were hungry. Since Thomas had told them to rest and was treating them to a meal, what else could these workers say?
So, everyone followed Thomas to the Italian restaurant. Everyone ordered spaghetti.
Thomas went to the toilet after eating halfway.
