Matthew turned back and looked at Hummingbird. He seemed confused. “Hummingbird, how could you be the one who lost? Clearly, Thomas used a dirty trick. He did not win honorably!”
Hummingbird’s expression was cold as he asked, “Did Thomas put Larry’s abandoned car there?”
Matthew shook his head awkwardly.
“That’s right. Thomas didn’t arrange it, so how can you say that he didn’t win honorably?” Hummingbird let out a long sigh. “The road’s condition was the same for both of us, so it doesn’t matter who played a dirtier trick or who was more honorable. Thomas used the road’s condition and thought it out more than me. He won honorably."
“Thomas even clearly drove a Ferrari 458 that has a poorer performance, while I had the advantage of my car’s performance. Yet, I still lost in this condition. Why should I still try to find an excuse?”
