Not long after, everyone gathered outside the booth and formed a queue, all glancing in the direction of the main entrance. People were walking in and out, but there were no signs of Gemma Peake.
Everyone waited for about 5 minutes outside the booth, but nothing happened.
Hugo smirked, “Hey Thomas, where is Gemma?”
“It may be the traffic, you know, a lot of cars are out late at night,” Thomas replied calmly.
“Hahaha, you are still lying through your teeth right now? Wow, you sure are thick-skinned. Uncle Johnson, if you are certain to keep him as your son-in-law, I advise you to think it over thoroughly. Emma is such a wonderful lady, and it's a pity that she married such a useless liar of a man. It is a complete waste!”
