Thomas walked into the house. There was a candle being lit up. The candle’s fragrance made those who smelled it feel refreshed.
Meanwhile, Franklin was making the tea. Without raising his head, he said, “You’re here. Come and have a seat.”
Thomas did not hold back either. He sat in a bamboo chair directly before he looked up and glanced around. Although it was a trap, the atmosphere was not tense at all.
There were not more than a few of them in the house. There were no outsiders, and even Shawn was not there today. Plus, there were no people attempting to ambush the house.
It was indeed exactly as Thomas had guessed. Franklin cared about his reputation very much, so it was impossible for him to harm Thomas in his own territory. Such an aggressive and rude method did not fit Franklin’s character.
