Thomas simply replied, “It is one billion dollars, not ten dollars. Do you think it is like buying candy?”
Maxima sneered. “Alright then, I will wait along with you. I want to see till when you can put up a front!”
Another five minutes had passed but there was still no transaction to the account.
Maxima finally lost his composure. He walked to Thomas and shouted, “Stop pretending! You are just dirt poor and yet you are acting like you are rich. I will let you know how serious the consequences of putting up a facade are!”
He grabbed on Thomas’s collar while he was still talking. But in a flash, Thomas turned his wrist lightly and applied pressure directly on Maxima’s arm, pinning him on the table and completely disabling his movement.
