“Nothing. I‘m just looking around.”
As he spoke, Thomas looked at the socket under the television. He crouched down and looked closely.
This socket was facing the bed. On the surface, it seemed that there was no problem at all, but Thomas keenly noticed a fingernail-sized square dent in the upper left corner of the socket. It seemed that that part could be turned.
Thomas picked up a toothpick and fiddled with it. Then, he smiled.
“What are you doing? It’s dangerous to poke the socket with a toothpick. Be careful of electric shocks.”
