In a dark house, two men awkwardly sat across from each other, face to face. They were Warren and Caleb.
Caleb had designed a way to escape previously, but he had not been able to run away. He had come up with all sorts of methods, but he still could not leave the Southland District. A person with his intelligence soon realized that he was “caged up” like a rat. He had to helplessly go back to Warren.
Warren stared at him coldly, and he pouted arrogantly. “Rascal, how dare you come back here? You killed my housekeeper, and you didn’t inform me in advance before you escaped and came to me? Run away. Go and run away!"
“Why? Did you feel scared when you couldn’t run away, so you came back to me now?”
Caleb looked down, and he awkwardly said, “Mr. Parkinson, I was forced to do it to survive. Besides, we are on the same boat now. Only three days are left to the deadline that Thomas set. Once the deadline is over, both of us will be done. We can’t have internal conflict now. We have to work together to deal with Thomas!”
