Susan turned her head to take a look. She saw a silver-white van covertly following them.
Before she could react, Thomas suddenly stepped on the brake and stopped the car on the roadside.
“What happened?”
As soon as Susan finished asking, she saw two white vans appear in front of them. Three cars, both at the front and back, blocked their car in the middle. Then, a group of people got out of the vans. It could be seen that everyone held something like daggers, machetes, and iron rods.
As a woman, Susan became scared especially when it was dark. Even with Thomas beside her, she still started to tremble inevitably. No matter how powerful Thomas was, he was still unarmed. Could he fight against so many armed gangsters?
