After Thomas left the riverside, he got a cab and rushed to the Owen family’s clinic. He saw a big red cloth covering something from afar.
When he walked into the clinic, Edith happily approached him.
“Dr. Mayo, you’re finally here. You made me wait for so long!”
Thomas smiled. “Mr. Barlow, is there anything that can’t be kept by Adery first? Plus, do you have to give it to me in person?”
Adery shook her head. “This gift is incredible. I simply can’t have it.”
