After Thomas’s invitation, Henry Green followed Thomas into the VIP seating. It was the ideal position because they could easily see all of the superstars and singers perform from the angle it provided them.
Anna Caspian sat beside Thomas Mayo, with her head lowered. After a moment, she suddenly said to Thomas, “I’m sorry Mr. Mayo, I should have trusted you.”
Thomas just shrugged. “It’s alright, don’t mind it.”
The more he acted like this, the more Anna felt compelled to apologize. She preferred Thomas to be upset with her, but all she felt now was a strong sense of guilt. Only now did she realize that Thomas Mayo was not like those average trashy men.
One could always have faith in this man. However, she could not wrap her head around how Thomas handled everything.
