Clover’s matter was put aside for the moment, and Thomas returned home.
As soon as he got home, he saw a car stop at the door. The car door opened, and two brawny men walked in with a suitcase. They were followed by a middle-aged woman in her fifties.
“Felicia, the goods are here,” the woman said as she walked.
When Felicia heard it, she stood up instantly and walked over. She told the two brawny men to carefully put the box down and paid them the shifting charge before they left.
Emma, Johnson, and Thomas looked at each other, as they did not know what Felicia was doing.
