His loud yells stunned Fiora.

Hayden said, “Actually, on my way here, I was hoping that everything would turn out false. Anyone in this world can betray Lord Vedastus, but you can’t. Fiora, you’re Lord Vedastus’s daughter. Why would you work with Thomas to go against your father?"

"Tell me! Has Lord Vedastus not given you enough? What else do you want? Money? Power? Or status? Tell me, what else do you want?”

By the end of it, Hayden was shouting hysterically. He could not understand. He really could not understand what was the reason behind Fiora’s treason.
