Adery felt satisfied. She turned around, looked at Thomas, and curiously asked, “How did you get the chief conductor to change his attitude in just a few minutes?”
“There isn’t a special reason actually. I told him I recorded a video, and I wanted to report him to his superior. So, he took the initiative to solve the problem for me,” Thomas said indifferently.
“Huh?"
A normal person would not have believed in such nonsense, but Adery did. Her trust in Thomas had surpassed the appropriate limit. She completely trusted him without any reason.
When the train arrived at the next station, Mandrill and his gang were brought away by the police. Then, the train continued moving toward its destination.
