Declan’s image and temperament were similar to what Thomas had imagined. He looked like a noble European gentleman from the last century, and he resembled a vampire who lived in the castle, like those in the movies. His complexion was so fair that it was terrifying.
“This is Mr. Declan Mars, Head of the House of Vistaria,” Blake introduced.
Thomas and Pisces immediately stood up to show their respect.
Declan was very aloof, or one could say, proud. He did not show even the most basic courtesy. He did not walk over and shake hands with Thomas. He just walked to the main seat at the long table, sat down, and stared at Thomas coldly. This man did not respect others at all.
It was actually not strange. With his status, even if Lord Vedastus was there, he would not take him seriously either. As the only person who could talk to Luck in Celandine City, Declan had a pretty high status.
