Are you afraid that I’ll vent my anger on you, so you’re trying to pack your stuff and run away in the next three days? No way, I tell you!”
She waved her hand, and a few police officers walked into the room.
Eve cried and said, “Arrest this lousy murderous doctor! He killed my husband! I’m not going to spare him!”
Theoretically, the police officers were not Thomas’ opponents. With Thomas’ ability, he could just leave if he wanted. But Thomas did not resist this time. He chose to be arrested because he knew who his enemy was. Eve was not the person whom Thomas wanted to deal with. Someone wanted to kill him using Vincent. That person purposely incited the hatred between Eve and him. Eve was kept in the dark, and she just acted recklessly because of her impulsive nature, but Thomas would not play with this woman. If Thomas also acted recklessly and fought Eve, he would really fall into his enemy’s trap.
When Thomas thought about it, he did not fight back. He just allowed the police officers to cuff him.
