In the old Hill family home, the housekeeper led Thomas into the reception room, and he took his seat. After a while, Richard walked inside with a tray. There were two teacups and a teapot on the tray.
Thomas quickly stood up.
“Hey, please have a seat.” Richard invited Thomas to sit down. Then, he placed a teacup in front of Thomas and personally poured him a cup of tea.
Thomas stared at the tea and did not move for a long time.
Richard sat down and chuckled as he asked, “Why aren’t you drinking it? Are you afraid that my tea is poisonous?”
