When the time came, Bradley would ensure that the battle wouldn‘t go smoothly, perhaps even intentionally leading it to failure. By then, if Amez tried placing the blame, Vernon would be the first to take responsibility and face punishment, possibly even losing his position.
If that happened, who would become the president?
Based on Amelicon's historical traditions, the new president would most likely be chosen from among the war leaders, which meant it could be Bradley. Moreover, even though he was a warrior and could hover in the air, he could never reach Amez's heights or even that of the weakest deities.
But what about Vernon?
