Rain was a distant relative of the Cosbys in Centurio. He was on the Dragon Team to get gilded.

"What did you just say? I dare you to repeat it!" Rain was outraged. "You're at the jaws of death, yet you think I'm joking? Fine! Captain Larry, I'm ordering you to capture him one last time. If you don't do as I say, I will report to the higher-ups that you neglect your duty and abuse your power for personal gain, and you'll be kicked out of the Dragon Team!"

Captain Larry was angered, thinking that Rain had no right to command him. He realized that if Remus wasn't part of the Dragon Team, he would die at the hands of Mr. Lotus. It would be a pity.
